The use of Arena simulation programming for decision making in a workshop study

Computer simulations are used to represent the essential features of a real system so that learners can test their analytical and design skills in a convenient and safe environment. This article describes Arena, a commercially available, highly specialized, off‐the‐shelf software simulation package. Also an Arena model has been investigated in a workshop. © 2008 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
