Inter-cell Interference Coordination in LTE Self Organizing Network

The Self-Organizing Network (SON) is a very important aspect for the operators to minimize capital expenditures and operational expenditures (OPEX). An algorithm for automatic configuration of neighbor cell lists (NCL) is proposed to handle the inter cell interference in LTE systems. The simulation results show that this algorithm reduces interference between adjacent cells hence leading to the increase in throughput and reduction of BLER.
