Method and device for transmitting triggering frame in wireless local area network

The invention discloses a method for transmitting triggering frame in a wireless local area network. The method comprises the step of generating a triggering frame, wherein the triggering frame comprises a triggering frame type identifier, the triggering frame type identifier is used for distinguishing different types of triggering frames and the different types of frames comprise a triggering frame without a media access control MAC function, a triggering frame with a single MAC function or a triggering frame with multiple MAC functions. The invention also provides a corresponding device for transmitting the triggering frame. In this way, uniform frame format design is performed on different types of triggering frames, so the structure of the triggering frame is simplified and complexity of a receiving station is reduced.
