Characteristics of Driver's Violation Experiences and Driving Behavior with Respect to Accident Types

The authors investigated violation experiences for five years of drivers who had traffic accidents in 2009 with respect to accident types. In the analysis process, the drivers of rear-end collision who were struck by other vehicles were set as the basic reference. Drivers of rear-end collision (1st party concerned) had particular violation type and, on the other hand, drivers of crossing collision were considered to be somewhat involved by coincidence. Driving Style Questionnaire (DSQ) and Driving Behavior Questionnaire (DBQ) were examined by Web questionnaire to reveal the distinctive characteristics of drivers of rear-end collision.平成21年の事故について過去5年間の違反歴との関係を事故類型別に調査したところ追突事故の１当について特徴的な違反歴が認められ出会い頭事故については偶然によるところが大きいと考えられた。追突を起こすドライバについてウェブアンケートにより運転行動(DBQ)と運転スタイル(DSQ)とを調査し、その特徴を明らかにした。
