The shipbuilding industry is an important industry in China, and the Yangtze River Economic Belt is an important part of the ship-related industry. In this paper, the aggregation and difference of the ship-related industry in the Yangtze River Economic Belt are considered by methods such as Gini coefficient, location entropy measurement and E-G index. The study found that the concentration of ship-related industry in the Yangtze River Economic Belt is still relatively low, and the differences between the regions are obvious. The degree of industrial development and concentration in coastal areas such as Shanghai and Jiangsu is relatively high, but the upper reaches of the Yangtze River in Sichuan, Yunnan and Guizhou are very low. The industry is not balanced, there is a lot of room for improvement, and some policy recommendations are given.
