Predicting the performance of a heat-pipe heat exchanger, using the effectiveness-NTU method

Abstract An analysis of the thermal performance of a heat-pipe heat exchanger based on the effectiveness-NTU model is developed. The predicted thermal performance using this model is compared with results obtained by previous investigators. Good agreement was observed.
