Broadband E-shaped microstrip antenna with dipole RE-radiators

New design of microstrip patch antenna with coaxial feed is proposed in this article. The proposed construction includes additional dipole radiators placed over main patch and exhibits enhanced broadbandness comparing to classical E-shaped patch antenna. Also, gain of proposed antenna is highly stable in the broad frequency band. © 2012 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
