A review of user interface conventions in web applications for climate change information

Web applications are increasingly applied to provide access to the complex field of climate change related information. We review a sample of 32 applications that utilize maps in the context of web enabled access to climate change information in order to examine if the emergence of UI conventions across applications can be observed.
