Design and 3D Solid Modeling of Non: circular Gear

Gear is a kind of integrated mechanical transmission element which is widely used in machine or instrument. It is mainly used to transfer the rotation motion and power between two parallel axes, staggered axes or intersecting axes. In real life, circular gear is widely used, especially in many places of industrial production and life. Different from circular gears, the tooth shape, pitch diameter, tooth profile equation and meshing characteristics of non-circular gears are constantly changing. This paper introduces in detail the calculation method of pitch curve of non-circular gear, the formula for curvature radius of non-circular gear the derivation and the section curve of concave and convex sexual discrimination, closed delay-independent conditions meet the section curve is put forward, with reference to circular gear lists the basic parameter calculation formula of the non-circular gears from the pressure Angle calibration, transition curve and whether to expound the important root cutting and so on; By studying the curve of non-circular gear pitch, the basic characteristics of non-circular gear transmission were obtained. Pro/E software was used to draw accurate 3d solid model of non-circular gear.
