Study on location method of single logistics center by integrating continuous and discrete methods

The objective of this paper is to optimize the location problem of single logistics center.Through a- nalysis and appraisement of continuous methods and discrete methods,the method of integrating the two is put forward.Firstly,the continuous model is brought forward that covers such factors as the price of soil,the im- pedance of traffic and the distribution of logistics service demand in different logistics centers that is caused by competition.The objective function of the model is the maximum net benefits which are brought by service de- mand and approaches for settling the model are given by adopting genetic algorithms.Secondly,the spare spots aggregate is confirmed according to the property of soil,the area requirement of logistics center,natural and traffic conditions.Finally,based on the theory of close degree,the academic optimization key is compared with spare spots so as to confirm the final spot where the logistics center is to be built.
