Proposal of an Automation System for Measurment of Short Circuit Impedance and Load Loss in Distribution Transformers

This paper proposes an automation system for the Medium Voltage Laboratory of the Smart Grid Institute in the Federal University of Santa Maria, focusing on the load loss test. It is explained the relevance of the subject, the standard description of the test, the equipment of the laboratory, the used hardware and software to obtain the voltage and current data and the analysis of the results using values of commercial distribution transformers.
