Investigation on cable safety condition of thermal power plants

Investigation results of more than 30 thermal power plants cable safety condition were analyzed to learn about cable safety management system build up and enforcement situation,cable facilities status,cable safety technical measures condition and cable daily inspections.The cable safety problems lies in the not well organized technical management system,the defects of cable facilities,the faultiness of cable safety technical measures and the deficiency of calbe daily inspections,which increase the risks of cable fire accidents of thermal power plant.In order to solve the problem,suggestions were given to optimize thermal power station cable safety management system and to increase cable safety technical level.
