ABSTRACT In this paper, the installation of a fibre reinforced plastic (FRP) multiwick solar distillation plant of capacity 70 litres per day has been presented. On the basis of monthly performance of the system and cost analysis of distilled water, it is informed that this type of the system can be economical for medium capacity of the plant (≤ 500 litres per day).
