Brake stepping force detection device and brake stepping force detection method

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance detection accuracy of a distortion sensor mounted to a clevis for connecting an arm of a brake pedal and an operating rod of a booster. SOLUTION: The arm 3 of the brake pedal 1 and the operating rod of the booster are connected by the clevis 13. The clevis 13 is provided with a rod connection part 15 of a long circular shape in which both ends of a pair of flat plate parts 19, 21 parallel to each other is connected by curved parts 23, 25 and the distortion sensors 27, 29, 31, 33 are mounted to both front/back surfaces of the curved parts 23, 25. The arm 3 of the brake pedal 1 is connected to a pedal connection arm 17 extending from one flat plate part 21 of the rod connection part 15 through a support pin 43. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
