A Framework to Improve E-Tourism Experience by Using Intelligent Portal

Nowadays all services are using internet and one of these services is tourism. But there is a big problem that tourists are facing which is the load of relevant or irrelevant information and resources to study before or during their travel and this can lead to a difficulty in decision-making process. We can take advantage of Data mining, web mining and knowledge management techniques to customize information offerings based on characteristics, needs and expectations of individuals or groups, in order to increase tourists satisfaction and shorten the time they spend surfing internet. This Abstract tries to elaborate the concept of intelligent tourism electronic portal, and also present an infrastructure for it and finally will indicate factors and feasible approaches which can upgrade the tourists’ satisfaction of this intelligent portal.
