시공과정에서의 지속가능성 요소 분류를 위한 VE 방법론 제시

Since introduction of 'Environmental activities', many industries have invested for searching ways of reducing impacts on environment. In construction industry, there are many environmental assessment such as LEED (USA), CASBEE (Japan) and BREEM (UK) etc. They evaluate affects on environment caused by construction over one's life cycle. They became a guide line for planning construction projects. Similarly, Sustainability is aim to maximize its quality of function from minimum resources inputs which has less affects on environment. The question is how to measure the sustainability of construction. This research proposes a methodology for identifying sustainability with Value Engineering methodology. Existing VE determines the real value of function for better quality and less cost. When VE composes of Value, Function and Quality, by expanding onto environmental impact factors develop into Sustainable Value Engineering. This research is identifying factors of environmental impact which limited by construction work on site. This is named as Installation Impact that effects environment directly or indirectly due to construction work.
