1 Powertrain and on-board battery charging electronics in an electric vehicle (EV) Electric Vehicles (EVs) are expected to make a profound impact on the environment and global climate. however, market penetration of EVs is slow primarily because of higher cost, limited driving range with a fully charged battery and long battery charging time. this problem can be addressed by developing advanced power converters with increased energy efficiency and lower cost compared to the current state-of-the-art solutions.
