Mobile phone and operating method of multi-chatting

A mobile terminal and a multi-chatting method are provided to activate multi-chatting and enhance the rate of operation of a system without limiting the number of connected parties. A controller(200) allocates a certain region of a heap memory unit(210) as a chatting room, and manages such that data of a chatting room having the longest connection time among multi-chatting rooms is backed up and the chatting room is re-allocated as a new chatting room. The heap memory unit is used as an operation region and its available area is allocated as the multi-chatting rooms. A back-up memory unit(220) backs up chatting room data of the heap memory unit and stores them. A chatting unit(230) modulates and demodulates transmitted or received multi-chatting data. A wireless unit(240) wirelessly transmits and receives multi-chatting signals.
