Method and system for synchronizing a plurality of devices

A system with a plurality of devices is provided, each of which is equipped with at least one central processing unit which includes an internal clock, the internal clocks are synchronized. At least two of the devices receive signals and synchronize their respective internal clock with the signals. The signals can be a radio signal that can come from a satellite, such as a global positioning system. The devices may be an image display device or other device that is used in medical technology.
