The invention relates to a reversible measuring mechanism, comprising a measuring tool base, a measuring tool rack, a swinging arm body, an operating handle and an offset spring, wherein measuring tool base is fixed on a worktable, and the top of the measuring tool base is provided with a wedge-shaped surface; the measuring tool rack is provided with a V-shaped groove at the bottom, is arranged on the wedge-shaped surface of the measuring tool base through the V-shaped groove and is fixed by a bolt; the swinging arm body is rotatably hinged to the measuring tool rack, a meter bar provided with a meter clamp at the upper end part is clamped on the swinging arm body, and a dial indicator is clamped on the meter clamp; the operating handle is rotatably arranged on the measuring tool rack, and a cam in mutual interference with the swinging arm body is fixedly arranged on a rotating shaft of the handle; two ends of the offset spring are respectively fixedly connected to the swinging arm body and the measuring tool rack; and the swinging arm body rotates around the measuring tool rack under the interference action of the cam and rotates and offsets under the action of the offset spring.
