Automatisierung der Typprüfung von Software für Prozessleitsysteme

The successful use of computer systems in the field of process automation is mainly dependent on their reliability and availability. While the reliability of hardware has been significantly improved in the recent ten years, the reliability of software could not have been improved in the same value of magnitude. One of the main reasons, besides the tremendous growth of complexity, is the lack of effective testing tools for large software systems. In this paper the test of complex software for process computer systems using automatic testing tools is described. Experience with different kinds of tests, such as dialogue test, data processing test and performance test are presented
