Anaesthesia for Fenestration Operation

SIR,-Dr. George Lumb (March 11, p. 582), reporting two cases of large adrenal cortical tumours which showed no liormonal activity, says: " Fuchsinophil staining by Broster and Vines's (1933) method gave for the most part negative results, ailthough occasional granules scattered through the cells of the tumours took up the red stain feebly." This wording suggests uncertainty about the results of the method.
