Application of Chaos Theory to Synthesis of Plane Rigid Guidance

This paper focuses on the method of solving the non linear equation arising from the synthesis of plane rigid guidance. With the points in the chaotic zones as the initial points, all of the solutions of the equation can be found by Newton Raphson method. It is discovered that the chaotic zones are in the neighborhood of extremals of the function, and in the directions in which its monotonicity changes. Based on this discovery, a new method has been proposed.
