Self-Regulation in Business: Beyond Associational Self-Regulation

Two cases of 'pure' self-regulation in business are explored to answer the following questions: 1) to what extent can these cases be considered 'pure' self-regulatory? 2) what conditions have favoured the creation of these self-regulatory regimes? 3) why do firms adopt and comply? 4) what are the challenges and opportunities of these regulatoiy regimes in supporting public interests?
