Rapid Calibration of Temperature Coefficient for Micro Machined Gyroscope

To calibrate the temperature coefficient of micromachined gyroscope typically uses the temperature controlled rotation table after warming up for a long time.In order to improve the efficiency,this paper presents a new approach,which generates sine velocity stimulated by temperature controlled rotation table.The MIMU sampling is synchronized by the output pulse from the rotation table.Then the correlation analysis is used to extract the scale factor,zero bias and phase delay.Temperature models of scale factor and zero bias are then built up.Using the obtained phase delay,curve fitting method can be employed to extract zero power,first power,second power coefficients of velocity.Experiments show that temperature coefficients for scale factor and zero bias derived from the two approaches are the same,which validates the correctness of them.The approaches proposed do not require long time warming up and thus save us much time.Further more it can rapidly calibrate the temperature coefficients too when temperature grads exist in this system.
