An Optimization Method of Reducing Roaming Delay in SIP-Based VoWLAN

To solve the problem of roaming delay and the low-efficiency roaming in sip-based VoWLAN,a new method,in this paper,is designed. In fact,the aspect of roaming should consider:channel detect and access、WLAN authentication、Network layer roaming、Application layer support of mobility etc. The whole roaming procedure needs each layers cooperating. This paper analyzes the current solution and proposes a new Roaming Manager Server (RMS) solution. The new solution can be proved efficiency and success by network simulation.
