This paper presents an approach and process of defining, modeling and constructing the Trusted Ontology in order to solve the problem of lacking semantic description information about the trustworthiness of the Semantic Web Services. The structured semantic description and axiom-based reasoning rules are constructed in the Trusted Ontology schema to represent and evaluate its trustworthiness. The Semantic Web Services' Trustworthiness Reasoning and Evaluation Framework has been designed and implemented based on the Trusted Ontology model as the antitype system. Through a domain-dependent Semantic Web Service instance of the Trusted Ontology implementation based on this antitype system, we present the evaluation results and validate the effect. The Trusted Ontology representation can be used for the Semantic Web Services description, publication, discovery and composition in the distributed and computer-supported cooperative work environment.
