A Middleware for Cross-Platform and Context-Aware of Mobile Terminals

Nowadays, as mobile smart terminals are becoming increasing widespread and multitudinous sensors are included, the applications with various new functions that run on mobile terminals are largely expanded. This paper proposes a Cross-Platform and Context-Awareness (CPCA) middleware intended for application developers, by which they can develop context-aware applications by providing the context reasoning logic along with context sampling service degree without bothering with the sampling procedure. At the same time our CPCA middleware provides the application with the facility and flexibility of cross-platform and self-adaptive to the screen interfaces.
