A New Adaptive Nonlinear ic Diffusion for Noise Smoothing.

The aim of this work is to propose an adaptive nonlinear filtering method based on the nonlinear anisotropic difision equation. This new method has the advantage of flexibility and adaptability. Furthermore, A new degradation effect, not signaled before, we call ccpinhole effectw, which may result in anisotropic di@sion is introduced and analyzed. A robust solution to this effect is proposed and evaluated through experimental data. The performance of the method is demonstrated on actual and synthetic images.
