Laminated polymer waveguide fan-out device for uncoupled multi-core fiber

A compact waveguide-type fan-out device for uncoupled multi-core fibers was demonstrated using laminated polymer waveguide. The measured coupling losses from a 7-core fiber to seven single-core fibers were as low as 0.2 - 4.4 dB.
