Design of unequal Wilkinson power divider for dual-band operation with isolation stubs

The design of a novel unequal Wilkinson power divider for dual-band operation is presented. The isolation stubs are introduced to reduce the parasitic effects between the two stubs that are connected by the isolation resistor. Closed-form design equations are derived based on network theory. The validity of this analysis is confirmed through the design, simulation and experimental results for a power divider for 1 and 2.5 GHz.
