Anti-Demagnetization Analysis of 2.5MW High Speed Permanent Magnet Wind Generator

The permanent magnet synchronous generator was applied to the wind power generation systems widely with its specific advantage of high power density and high efficiency.However,the permanent magnet demagnetization would damage the operational safety and stability of the permanent magnet wind generators.A 2.5MW high-speed permanent magnet synchronous wind generator was researched for the anti-demagnetization problem from following aspects,the choice of permanent magnet material,the electromagnet design,short-circuit current influence on the operating point and assembling application.The research may be meaningful for the design and optimization of high-speed permanent magnet wind generator.
