Development of applied psychology major: problems and countermeasures——A case study of Tianjin University of Technology and Education

According to the material of major development in other universities,focusing on the students of grade 2001—2006 majoring in psychology and their teachers in Tianjin University of Technology and Education,survey is conducted about satisfaction of course design,the faculty developmentt,eaching practice developing orientation and the urgency for the reform of the related teaching steps by questionnaires.The prob-lems existing in the major development construction are analyzed and some suggestions with emphasis on speci-fying clear characteristics of major and strengthening faculty construction are proposed.
