Evaluation of the cross-section for elastic scattering of

Abstract The available experimental information on the 4He scattering from carbon was compiled and the recommended differential cross-sections were produced in the framework of a theoretical approach. Model calculations with comparison and fitting to experimental data were used for parametrization of the available experimental data. The result of the evaluation is that the required excitation functions for analytical purposes may be calculated in the energy range from Coulomb scattering up to 8 MeV at any scattering angle.
