A study on the resistively correction method under high salinity mud influence in the Kela, Kuche area

In order to overcome the influence of collapsed gypsum-salt formation and formation pressure on drilling in the Kela,Kuche area,people oftem use a fluid of high mineralization and big density during production.This makes the measured resistivity in the permeable strata differ much from the realistic values,and brings great difficulties to log interpretation.Based on the actual case of the Kela area,this work attempts to study the resistivity correction method to the influence of high-mineralization mud.We propose that the obserred resistivity can be corrected based on care data and patterns of dynamic mud intrusion.Then we compare the saturation from hair analysis and that calculated after the correction;and verify the rebiability of the resistivity correction.The result shows that the corrected resistivity can reflect better the real eletric feature of strata and further enhance the accuracy of logging interpretation.
