Capacity Optimization of Independent Wind/PV Hybrid Power Generation System Based on GA

It is important for design wind/PV hybrid power generation system to allocate the capacity of wind turbine,solar cell and battery with restraint of the reliability of power supply of loads. Capacity optimization is to decrease the cost,loss of power supply probability(LPSP)and surplus of power supply pobability(SPSP),and it is a multi-objective optimized problem. The models of wind turbine,solar cell and battery are constructed in this paper,then a modified GA and energy scheduling policy are utilized to propose power deviation and the energy and power of batteries and the cost of system,LPSP,SPSP are synthetically considered. Via this method,the optimal quantity of each module can be obtained rapidly. The scheme is proved to be reasonable through an example based on the data from September 2011 to August 2012 of a district.
