A Structure of Influences of Management and Organizational Factors on Unsafe Acts at the Job Performer Level

The present paper reports the work conducted to develop a framework that describes the various influences of factors or attributes of management and organizations that can influence the worker either directly or indirectly and have an effect on his/her job performance. Two representations of a framework are presented with definitions of the factors/attributes and their processes and how these influences interact at different levels of an organization. An attempt is made to relate the present framework to others that have been developed and finally to suggest further research that is needed.
