Remote wireless meter-reading system based on the 433MHz and GPRS technology

For traditional manual meter-reading efficiency is low, large errors and other shortcomings, a remote wireless meter-reading system based on 433MHz wireless communication and GPRS technology is presented in this paper. The system can complete data collection and the calculation of cost by measure the cumulative valve opening time of every user and the heat consumption of the whole region or the whole building, combined with user area. This paper shows that the wireless meter reading system is running stably and reliably. It is of great significance to improving the safety and economical operating level of distribution network and enhancing the energy management and power supply quality. This paper introduces the design and implementation of the system. The main content of this article is the hardware design and software design, especially RF modules and network design.
