Experimental Realisation of 3 × 3 MIMO System with Mode Group Diversity Multiplexing Limited by Modal Noise

We show experimentally the feasibility of a 3×3 MIMO system based on Mode Group Diversity Multiplexing over GI-MMF. The main limiting effect of modal noise is reduced by large detection areas.
