MICROBIAL COMMUNITY ANALYSIS IN THREE ANAEROBIC/AEROBIC ACTIVATED SLUDGE PROCESSES FED WITH ACETATE, DOMESTIC SEWAGE WITH AND WITHOUT PARTICULATE ORGANIC MATTER

炭素源としてそれぞれ酢酸 (Run-A), 都市下水 (Run-S), 都市下水に下水由来の懸濁性有機物 (POM) (Run-SP) を投入してリン除去が安定した3つの系を構築し, PCR-DGGE法を用いてその微生物群集を解析した. Run-SPに投与したPOMは, 1μmナイロンシートを用いて, 下水処理場の最初沈殿池越流水から回収した. DGGEバンドパターンに基づいて微生物群集構造の違いを調べた結果, 3系列すべてに共通して存在するバンドが3本あり, Run-AおよびRun-SPのみの共通バンドが1本であった. Run-SおよびRun-SPのみの共通バンド11本を含めて, Run-SおよびRun-SPの共通バンドは14本であり, POM添加により微生物群集構造が大きく変化することは観察されなかった. バンドC1およびA/SPの塩基配列を解読した結果, Thiothrix 近縁種および Rhodocyclus 近縁種であった.
