Demonstration and Design of High Spectral Efficiency 4Gb/s OFDM System in Passive Optical Networks

With OFDM's spectral efficiency and electrical signal processing power, we have demonstrated that a 4Gb/s OFDM-16QAM signal can be transmitted error free in 20km passive optical networks using cost-effective optical devices.
