An optimization method for rush order insertion rescheduling problem under the constraints of hot rolling process

The production process of hot rolling stage is complex, which has strict rolling requirements for the change of slab specifications. Disturbance factors such as rush order insertion are very common in hot rolling production, which will lead to the initial scheduling scheme cannot continue to execute, and then destroy the production continuity. In the paper, an optimization method for the rush order insertion rescheduling was proposed for such disturbance factors as rush orders. Firstly, in order to improve product quality and production continuity, under the constraints of hot rolling process, the rescheduling model for rush order insertion is established to minimize the sum of slab jump penalties. Furthermore, the estimation of distribution algorithm based on the rush order insertion rescheduling problem was designed. The coding method and probability model were designed for this paper. Finally, the feasibility and effectiveness of the model and algorithm are verified by simulation experiments with actual production data.
