도시철도 표준화사업에서 데이터베이스의 효과적 활용에 관한 연구

This paper describes how to efficiently handle and effectively manage a lot of data generated in the Urban Rail Transit Standardization Project. This project is a kind of large-scale and complex systems which, in general, require a long development period and the participation of many engineers from a variety of organizations. As such, it is necessary to construct a database (DB) to handle those resources and constraints. The DB should be managed effectively not only during the development period but also for later use even after its completion. In this study, a DB construction method is first described for the Urban Rail Transit Standardization Project. Then, it is discussed how to utilize the generated DB and how to access it. Specifically two methods for access to the DB are described with emphasis on the Web access. This paper discusses further on the management of the traceability and change history. The traceability will provide a strong basis for the new development of systems in which case the products of previous projects, standards and regulations perspectives needed to be reused or considered. Particularly, the incorporation of the newly introduced or just changed standards or regulations can easily be done in the new development using the traceability among the changes in them. The results of the study are expected to be used in the development of other large-scale and complex systems.
