Operational expenditures savings in IP/MPLS over DWDM networks by Multi-layer restoration

Multi-layer restoration enhances recovery in multiple failure scenarios and can relax the urgency of the reparation of damaged network equipment. This work analyses the operational expenditures (OpEx) savings obtained with multi-layer restoration.
