Migration of paramagnetic impurities in PbTe in an external electric field

Abstract Directional migration of Mn 2+ and Eu 2+ paramagnetic ions in a constant weak external electric field( E ex V /cm) in PbTe single crystals subjected to IR laser treatment was revealed. The parameters of the spin Hamiltonian for Mn 2+ and Eu 2+ ions in the PbTe lattice were obtained.
