Reconstruction of a stratified omega medium and the associated Riemann-Hilbert problem

We consider the inverse scattering problem for a model of electromagnetic wave propagation in a stratified dispersive Ω-material. The dispersive properties of the material are described by the Lorentz model with inhomogeneous strength factors. We reformulate the scattering problem in the frequency domain as a Riemann–Hilbert problem and study the uniqueness of reconstruction of the constitutive parameters from the scattering data.
