地下鐵 驛舍의 避難安全性能 確保를 위한 設計基準에 관한 硏究

Egress safety measures for emergencies are keenly required at a subway station which tends to be positioned deeper under the ground due to increased subway lines, superannuated facilities and the space utilization of downtown and is also the place where an unspecified number of the general public gathers. However there is lots of confusion in designing a subway station because there is no design standards for egress safety performance and it is very obscure to apply to a subway station the provisions of the domestic building code and fire code with respect to smoke exhaust, compartment, etc. This study is to show the current status and problems of subway stations in Seoul and other cities and then to suggest the proper criteria which could ensure the egress safety performance at a subway station by making comparison between domestic criteria and foreign ones.
