Apparatus for dispensing and depositing paper medium of automatic teller machine and controlling method for the same

PURPOSE: An apparatus for dispensing and a depositing paper medium of an automatic teller machine are provided to accurately determine the state of paper medium through a medium sensor. CONSTITUTION: A case(10) comprises a medium inlet(16). A paper mediums are input to the medium inlet. The medium transfer unit(20) transfers paper mediums. The medium transfers unit enable a paper medium to inputted to the medium inlet in a bundle state. A first medium sensors(30,32) sense paper mediums which the medium transfer unit transfers. A second medium sensor(40) senses the rear of the paper mediums arranged in the medium inlet. A third medium sensor(50) senses the paper mediums arranged in the medium inlet to forward.
