AUTONOMOUS PARAMETER ADJUSTMENT IN ALIGNMENT ATTITUDE CONTROL OF AIR SPRING MOUNTING SYSTEM FOR MARINE PROPULSION SYSTEM

Marine propulsion system (MPS) is one of the main mechanical noise sources. Its vibration can be attenuated effectively by new vibration isolation technology such as air spring mounting system (ASMS) or passive-active hybrid vibration isolation using electromagnetic actuator and air spring. At the same time, alignment attitude control (AAC) is a very difficult problem when these new technologies are used. Autonomous parameter adjustment method (APAM) in AAC of MPS for air spring vibration isolation system is proposed in this paper. The APAM is presented through establishing the control response analysis method and the multi-objects control model. This can make the control system adjust the control capability parameters automatically to manifest good convergence capability and stability under different working condition. Experimental results verified the feasibility of the APAM. This method has gotten good effect when it is applied in some air spring mounting systems for MPS.
