LSCR:A Link State-Based Cluster Routing Protocol of Mobile Ad hoc Network

Mobile ad hoc networks (MANET) are characterized by multi hop wireless connectivity, frequently changing network topology and the need for efficient dynamic routing protocols, and routing protocol is one of the most important problems in MANET research.A novel routing protocol for Mobile Ad hoc Network-LSCR is proposed,in which a cluster header node is elected by its neighbour nodes to manage the sending and receiving of data from nodes in its cluster,to maintain the information of nodes,to exchange link state information with other cluster headers. The integration of the enhanced link state routing and the cluster routing improves the routing efficiency effectively.Analysis and simulation show that the protocol LSCR is characterized with its quick convergence and low maintenance costs of route, high rate of successful packet delivery and low waiting time before delivery.
